John Baltz is a Subchapter Head in Chevron’s Data Science and Analytics Chapter. He has experience leveraging his knowledge of machine learning and his background in oil and gas operations to solve complex operational challenges across Chevron’s businesses. John’s career began in the San Joaquin Valley where he worked as a Production Engineer, building his knowledge of oil and gas operations. Since completing his master’s in computer science, John has held a variety of data analytics-related roles across Chevron. In these roles, John has partnered with members of Chevron’s business in the United States, Canada, and Indonesia to solve key business problems and help deliver digital solutions. As a Data Science Subchapter Head, John is currently focused on enabling the success and development of Chevron’s next generation of Data Scientists.

Thomas M. Atchison is the Managing Director of Agile Meta Partners, which specializes in developing technology, products and new ventures in AI and aerospace technology and managing risks in venture capital, private equity investment firms portfolio companies. Atchison is the founder and chairman of the Mavericks Civilian Space Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to democratizing space access through STEM education, research, and driving the recent Space 2.0 revolution and U.S. space industry revival. With over 35 years of experience in Silicon Valley, Atchison has been a pioneer in various sectors including semiconductor, AI, software, aerospace and defense.

Garrick Kremesec With over 22 years of experience in comprehensive hardware design, including CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, memory, and sensors, alongside extensive programming expertise in VHDL, Verilog, C++, Python, and more, Garrick Kremesec excels in building strong teams and platforms swiftly. His background in mechanical engineering and robotics, combined with proficiency in SolidWorks, enhances his design's aesthetics and reliability.
