Jason Sedano, currently serving as the Vice President of Innovation for Taylor Farms, brings a wealth of experience in intellectual property and technology. He has over 13 years of experience in intellectual property, covering a range of electrical and mechanical engineering technologies, including data and energy systems. His responsibilities encompass managing all aspects of intellectual property for his company, which includes patent acquisition and enforcement.
Before joining Taylor Farms, Sedano worked as Senior IP Counsel for Halliburton, supporting electrical and software technologies. He also has a substantial background in private practice, having worked for several notable IP law firms in various locations like Silicon Valley, Washington D.C., and Houston.
Academically, Sedano has a strong foundation in his field. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and a Master of Electrical Engineering (M.E.E.) in electrical and computer engineering from Rice University. Further, he pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Santa Clara University School of Law, specializing in intellectual property law.
Sedano resides in Salinas with his wife and two children. His career trajectory demonstrates a deep commitment to intellectual property law, particularly in technology and innovation.
